Vascular age can be evaluated through comparison with the average in population with no risk factor of arteriosclerosis. If CAVI is higher than in the healthy of the same age group, it is considered that arteriosclerosis advances in the examinee. It is desired to correct any lifestyle-related disease so that the arteriosclerosis may not be accelerated by any possible complication of diabetes or hypertension.
